About Your Genial Co-Communicator

I have to admit to theft of a phrase – I stole the title from the late dean of local talk radio, John Otto – may he be enjoying his eternal reward of pretty ladies, good whisky and an appreciative audience… since he’s passed on to the great beyond, I don’t anticipate hearing any complaints from him for purloining his catchphrase, but should there be any, I’m quite certain that we’ll come to some equitable settlement on its’ use.

As for me, well… I’m not feeling nearly verbose enough to write an electronic bio for this newly hatched blog, so let this page stand in as a placeholder until I’m up to the challenge of crafting half-truths and not-quite lies that will serve to sufficiently cloak my real identity from the masses on Teh Intarwebs while at the same time allowing friends and family to find the nuggets of truth within the tailings I leave behind.

To tempt your curiosity and add a few more lines, I’ll admit to being male, tall (6′ 4″), relatively fit and active, Caucasian ( with a heritage rooted deeply in Polish, Russian, German and Eastern European traditions ), blue-eyed, shaved completely and fetchingly bald for these last 7 years, nearsighted but broad-minded – a citizen of the dysfunctional and disUnited States, unattached in a romantic sense but grounded all the same – a reader, a writer, a fan of languages, cultures and culinary traditions – a coffee snob, a wine aficionado, a connoisseur of good Polish and Russian vodka and quality Kentucky sour-mash whiskey and a singular drone within the hive of worker bees in the IT Industry.  Anything else is pure supposition and mad guessing on your part unless you happen to know me personally… and even that might not might get you very far!

Oh, and in case you didn’t already guess – you may call me Geno.  Many have, so I have no objections in that regard.

And on that note – I’m off. (as if you didn’t guess that already!)

  1. You haven’t been active for over a week now, I think your readers are feeling a little neglected — or at least I speak for myself.
    Post something! 🙂
